Luna zaśmiała się długo i psychicznie. Na całej sali zerwał się wiatr, który tragał futrem psów. Spojrzała na Hurreina.

Sunny z ledwością mogła utrzymać się na ziemi. Diamond ochraniał nieprzytomnego Alexa.

Wicher zmniejszył się. Luna zbliżyła się lecąc do Hurreina i wyszczerzyła się.

Diamond ponownie rzucił się na Lunę, która znów go odepchnęła. To samo uczyniła z Alexem. Sunny nie wiedziała już co robić. Mówiła do siebie:
- Cień w sercu... wszystkie zmartwienia i kompleksy Luny...
Luna zaśmiała się głośniej, na jej grzbiecie pojawiły się skrzydła, przypominające te, jakimi posługują się nietoperze.
